HOW WE CAN HELP YOU

FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGISTS ASSIST COURTS IN UNDERSTANDING THE IMPACT OF TRAUMA THROUGH EVIDENCE-BASED REPORTS THAT ENHANCE THE CHANCES OF FAIR DECISION-MAKING (BRAND ET AL. 2017).

PERSONAL INJURY

We provide evaluations and therapy for those, including children age 2 and up, who have been involved in an accident or incident and have suffered from psychological distress and emotional complaints. These include car accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, burn cases, electrocution cases, premises liability, assaults in public places, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and NIED (Negligent Infliction of Emotional Distress), among others.

IMMIGRATION

We provide evaluations and therapy for those who are involved in an immigration proceeding, including I-601 and I-601A Waivers ("extreme hardship"), Visa U/VAWA, Political Asylum, and Cancellation of Removal Proceedings ("exceptional and extremely unusual hardship), among others.

In the course of our immigration psychology work, we:

· Conduct psychological and neuropsychological testing to assess the extent of   physical, emotional and psychological impact on Qualifying Relatives.

· Review aggravating psychological factors impacting Qualifying Relatives.

· Implement standardized, objective psychological tests, assessing Qualifying     Relatives ability to cope and function under extreme hardship conditions.

· Prepare concise medical-legal psychological reports.

EMPLOYMENT LAW

We provide evaluations and therapy for those who have been psychologically injured in an employment case—sexual harassment, harassment and discrimination based on age, race, sexual orientation, gender, or the utilization of permitted legal benefits. We provide comprehensive evaluations as to the client’s psychological trauma and offer compassionate and competent therapeutic care to help the injured client recover the mental health they had before the harassment and abuse.
